Intro to Knitting (Former College of Saint Rose EAC)

Learn how to knit and purl, cast on and bind off. Tips on how to choose the right tools and yarn, and how to fix common mistakes will also be covered. Beginners will finish a small dishcloth or scarf as a first project. There will be time to practice and ask questions during each class, with individual attention from the instructor. Bring a small amount of worsted weight #4 yarn in any light color (pink, white, light blue, etc) and size 7 or 8 straight needles to the first class. Materials will be provided for those students who need yarn and needles.
